As my first posting it is appropriate and neccessary to give our Lord the first word on my blog. In the media, our schools, government, and too often our churches it seems that God isnt considered relevent or important. Faith is mostly a relic of a bygone era Those of us who still value real faith and live by its teachings are considered at least unintelligent and at the worst hate mongers and speaders of some social disease that poses a severe threat to our society. Is it any wonder that those who deride us the most seem to be the most in  need of spritual guidance? Maybe its just me but it appears that those who ridicule christain faith today have little to no understanding of christian doctrine or misquote it as it suits the need. The liberal left in this country and abroad live with a doctrine based on a decidedly humanistic world view and communist doctrtines. If you look at the most pressing social issues of the day, the underlying opinions of the liberal left are quite clear. As a christian nation we arent supposed to be prosperous, happy, generous people who support the poor and needy both in this country and abroad. Liberals feel that we just dont deserve our prosperity. Becasue we can identify right from wrong, value hard work, appreciate sacrifice, and see a need to place limits on personal and social behavior  we become demons to the left. When we speak of our faith in God we are backward, dumb, and bigoted, and racist. Our own mainstream media never misses a chance to deride faith and christain living as the great evil that pervades and destroys societies. The constant assualts on our faith has gotten to the point that may christians today have had their own world views affected.most not being aware of it.

    This problem lies squarely at the feet of most of the pastors and religious leadership in our nation today. While a few have stood by their faith and preached a message based on Gods word, far too many have gone too far left or right of what the bible actually says. Some attempting to hang on to a message that is based in a legalistic view point and others moving so far to the left in an attempt to be relevent or popular that the message has become mixed, often contrary, leading far too many good and decent parishoners astray. It has been said, in private of course, that if a preacher wants to keep his job that he must preach what the congregation wants to hear not what they need to hear or he will be out of work.

    We absolutely must as christians remember and realize being right isnt always popular, doing right doesnt always please, and at the end of the day christain faith must collide head first with a world view that denounces God and gospel.

   It is my aim here on this blog to establish certain truths and to illuminate the facts behind the hypocrisy that we face in this world today. To this end purpose I will seek to find the truth and not water down or sugar coat my opinions so I do not offend anyone. Rather I hope that my postings here produce thought, enlightenment, and knowledge that will promote a growth  of reason and strength in a dark and dangerous world. I ask that all who read my words leave their own opinions as well  whether we may agree or disagree, as the value of a blog is having people read it and discuss the opinions expressed here, especially any who would challenge me,  and so I challenge all who come to read my words..........  bring it!!!
